What are Merlin Multi Attraction tickets?
Merlin Multi Attraction Tickets are fixed combination packages from the provider Merlin Entertainments. Instead of paying for each attraction individually, you combine two or three major London highlights for a discounted total price. This is not a sightseeing pass with a free choice of attractions, but a pre-determined combination of Merlin attractions: London Eye, Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, London Dungeon, Shrek's Adventure and the Big Bus Tour.
This is where the biggest advantage lies: several of these attractions are only available through Merlin and a few other providers, but not in the London Pass® or Explorer Pass. If you want to see these attractions specifically, the combined tickets are often the cheapest solution.
Why is a combined ticket worthwhile?
A single adult ticket for London Eye quickly over £40, and also Madame Tussauds and the SEA LIFE London Aquarium are each in a similar range. In the triple package, however, you save up to £63 - that is up to 54 % compared to the individual prices, the package price starts at £54. The more attractions a package contains, the greater the savings.
How the combined tickets work
It's just a few steps from purchase to entrance. You book online and receive your e-ticket immediately on your smartphone.
Select combination
Choose the package above that suits your visit and select the date for your visit to the London Eye. You will receive your e-ticket immediately by e-mail.
Reserve a time slot
For the other attractions, book a time slot in advance via the provider's booking portal. This avoids waiting times on site.
Show at the entrance
Show your e-ticket at the entrance. You can visit the other houses within the next 90 days, counted from your visit to the London Eye.
The date for the London Eye can be rebooked up to three times free of charge, and rebooking is possible free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. Tickets are valid for single entry and are non-refundable. A time slot reservation for the other attractions is strongly recommended.
Merlin Combi Ticket or Sightseeing Pass?
Both options save money - but for different types of travellers. This comparison will help you decide.
Combi ticket is worthwhile if ...
- you specifically want to see two or three of the Merlin houses
- SEA LIFE, Madame Tussauds or the London Dungeon are on your list
- you are travelling with children or young people
- you have little time and only take the big highlights with you
- you prefer fixed packages and a clear price to free choice
A sightseeing pass is better if ...
- you want to see many different attractions
- classics such as Tower of London or Westminster Abbey should be included
- you are travelling for several days in a row
- you want to visit Windsor Castle or other royal highlights
- free choice is more important to you than a fixed package
Three of the most popular Merlin attractions are not included in either the London Pass® or the Explorer Pass: the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, Shrek's Adventure and the London Dungeon. If these attractions are the focus of your visit, a Merlin Multi Attraction Ticket is almost always the cheaper choice than a sightseeing pass.
If, on the other hand, you want to travel more widely and take in many classic sights, a sightseeing pass is the better option.

Frequently asked questions about Merlin Combi Tickets
Merlin Multi Attraction Tickets are fixed combination packages from the provider Merlin Entertainments. They bundle two or three major London attractions such as the London Eye, Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE at a discounted total price. It is not a sightseeing pass with a free choice, but a predetermined combination of Merlin attractions.
The tickets for the other attractions are valid for 90 days from the day of your visit to the London Eye. So you don't have to see all the highlights on the same day, but have three months to redeem them one after the other.
For the other attractions, we strongly recommend booking a time slot via the provider's reservation portal. This way you can secure your preferred date and avoid waiting times or a fully booked attraction on site. Admission is a one-off and is subject to availability.
Yes, you can change your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your arrival. You can even change the date for the London Eye up to three times free of charge. However, tickets are non-refundable, so rebooking is more flexible than cancelling.
These three attractions may or may not be included depending on the Sightseeing Pass. However, the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, Shrek's Adventure and the London Dungeon belong to Merlin Entertainments and are not included in either the London Pass® or the Explorer Pass. If these attractions are important to you, a Merlin Multi Attraction Ticket is the better choice.
For many families, yes. SEA LIFE, Madame Tussauds and Shrek's Adventure are particularly popular with children, but are expensive individually. With a combined ticket, you can save up to 54 per cent compared to the individual prices. Just pay attention to the age recommendation for London Dungeon and plan one or two attractions per day with children.
Visitors under the age of 15 may only enter London Dungeon if accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. The scary scenes can have a frightening effect on younger children, so this attraction is more suitable for older children and teenagers.
