How the London Pass works
The London Pass® is Go City’s all-inclusive pass. You pay once for a set number of days, and in that time you can visit as many attractions in the programme as you can manage, each of them once. That includes the big names such as the Tower of London, London Eye, The Shard, Madame Tussauds and Westminster Abbey, but also Kew Gardens, London Zoo, HMS Belfast, the Royal Observatory in Greenwich and a half-day tour to Stonehenge.
It starts at your first visit
After you buy, the pass appears in the Go City app. It only starts when you have it scanned at your first attraction. From then on it counts calendar days: a 3-day pass that you start on Monday afternoon is valid until Wednesday evening. The Monday counts as a full day even though it is half over. If you start in the afternoon, you lose half a day.
How it differs from the Explorer Pass
Go City sells a second pass in London, the London Explorer Pass. With that one you pay for 2 to 7 attractions and have 30 days to use them. Almost all the well-known sights are in both passes, including Windsor Castle and the London Eye. Only the London Pass has the Stonehenge tour and some food and day-trip options, among others. The London Pass pays off if you pack lots of sights into a few days. The Explorer Pass pays off if you pick a few highlights and want to take your time. Both side by side
