Prices in pounds, checked on 15 October 2026. Child price for ages 5 to 15; under 5s do not need a pass.

What the price depends on

With the London Pass, only the number of days sets the price. Two or five attractions in a day: the price stays the same. There is no premium or plus level: for each option from 1 to 10 days there is an adult price and a child price, nothing more.

Go City’s Explorer Pass charges differently. There the number of attractions sets the price, from 2 to 7, and you have 30 days from your first visit. Both passes arrive digitally in the Go City app, and both can be cancelled for a full refund within 90 days if you bought directly, as long as they are not activated. With the right code you save 5% on both.

The price per day

A single day costs £105.00. With the 7-day pass it comes down to £40.71 per day, with the 10-day pass £30.50. The longer the pass, the less each extra day costs.

That does not mean you should buy the longest pass. The days run consecutively, and a day on which you visit nothing is paid for and lost. Buy as many days as you will really spend sightseeing. If you plan to meet friends, go shopping or spend a rainy day at the hotel, leave those days out.

London Explorer Pass for 2 to 7 attractions

Here you pay per attraction instead of per day. With 2 attractions each one costs £32.50, with 7 only £23.57.

Child prices and what a family pays

Go City splits ages into three groups. From 16 you pay the adult price. Children aged 5 to 15 pay the child price: £115.00 instead of £199.00 for the 3-day London Pass. Children under 5 do not need a pass. The rule is the same for the London Pass and the Explorer Pass.

Two adults and two children aged 5 to 15 pay £628 in total for the 3-day pass. With the Explorer Pass for 4 attractions, the same family pays £388. With children you rarely manage more than two sights a day, so comparing with the Explorer Pass is especially worthwhile here.

At some attractions the child price without a pass is low. For a child who only joins a few visits, a single ticket can be cheaper than a child pass. London with kids

What the price includes

Three items that come with the London Pass at no extra cost.

Every attraction in the programme

From the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey to Windsor Castle and Hampton Court. On every day you have paid for, as many entries as you can manage.

Big Bus for 2 days

The Big Bus hop-on hop-off ticket is in the programme. On its own it costs £56.

Thames boats for 24 hours

The City Cruises River Pass for the boats on the Thames. On its own it costs £25.

When the pass pays off

The rule is simple: if your planned entries add up to more than the pass price, you save. Here is an example with three days and the best-known sights, with prices for one adult.

In this example you pay £58 less with the pass than with single tickets. With the code for londonpass.com the 3-day pass costs £189, and the gap grows to £68. Every extra attraction in those three days makes it bigger.

A single day

The 1-day pass costs £105.00. Tower of London, London Eye and The Shard cost £108 together if bought separately. So from three big sights in one day, the pass comes out ahead. That is doable, but only with an early start and time slots that fit together.

If you plan one or two attractions a day, you pay less with single tickets or the Explorer Pass. The quickest way to check your own plans is the calculator.

Costs the price does not cover

You pay for these on top of the pass.

Public transport

The Tube, regular buses, the Overground and the Elizabeth line are not included in any London pass. The easiest way is to pay contactless with a card or phone. It costs the same as with an Oyster Card, and TfL’s daily and weekly caps limit what you pay. What a day in the central zones costs is on the Oyster Card page.

Getting to day-trip sights

For Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace, entry is included but the train there is not. For Windsor you can leave from Paddington, for example.

Food and extras

You pay for meals yourself. The programme does include a few offers such as a breakfast or an afternoon tea, but they are no substitute for your meals.

The other passes

The Turbopass City costs from €129.00 and is charged in euros. It has a shorter programme without Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s, The Shard and Windsor, and the London Eye only at extra cost. To the Turbopass

The Headout Pass London for 2 to 7 attractions costs from £54.00. The Merlin combo tickets, bundles of the London Eye, Madame Tussauds and other Merlin attractions, are available from £49.00. They are non-refundable. To the Merlin combo tickets

Questions about prices and costs

How much is the London Pass?

It only depends on the number of days. Adults pay £105.00 for 1 day, £199.00 for 3 days and £305.00 for 10 days. The code LONDONCP05LP on londonpass.com takes 5% off.

Are there child prices?

Yes. Children aged 5 to 15 pay the child price, £115.00 for the 3-day pass. Children under 5 do not need a pass. This applies to both the London Pass and the Explorer Pass.

Is the price worth it?

If you visit three or more paid attractions on most days, usually yes. With one or two sights a day, single tickets or the Explorer Pass are cheaper. The calculation above on this page and the savings calculator show it for your plans.

How much does the London Pass cost for a family?

Two adults and two children aged 5 to 15 pay £628 for three days. Children under 5 go free. Because families usually move at a slower pace, it is worth comparing with the Explorer Pass.

Are the bus and boat included in the price?

The 2-day Big Bus ticket and the 24-hour pass for City Cruises Thames boats are in the London Pass programme. The Tube, regular buses and trains are not included. For those you pay contactless or with an Oyster Card.

Is there a more expensive premium or plus option?

No. In London, Go City sells the London Pass by days and the Explorer Pass by attractions. There is no plus or premium level. If you read about one, the information is out of date.

Do the prices change?

Yes. Go City adjusts its prices and regularly runs limited-time offers. The prices on this page carry the date we last checked them. What counts is the price in the basket on the day you buy.
