What does the London Pass® cost?
The price for The London Pass® depends solely on the chosen period of validity. Adults pay for 1 day £99, for 3 days £169 and for the longest variant with 10 days £259. Children from 5 to 15 years receive a reduced children's price depending on the duration in the area of £69-£169. Children under the age of 5 are completely free. No matter how many attractions you visit on one day of validity - the cost remains the same, because the London Pass® is an all-inclusive ticket.
Important to know: There is only this one London Pass®. There is no more expensive premium level or a „Plus“ tariff. The price per day decreases significantly the longer the Sightseeing Pass is valid - with the 1-day variant you pay £99 per day, with the 7-day variant only around £34 per day. This is exactly where the savings are made compared to single tickets.
How much does the London Explorer Pass cost?
The Explorer Pass from Go City charges differently: Here you don't pay by the day, but by the number of attractions you choose. Two attractions cost adults £64, three £89 and seven £159. Here, too, there is a reduced children's price in the £49-£109. You have 30 days after activation to redeem your chosen attractions. The Explorer Pass is the more favourable choice if you only want to see a few specific highlights.
What does the price depend on?
With the London Pass®, only the number of days determines the cost. With the Explorer Pass it is the number of attractions selected. Both sightseeing passes have the same provider, the same cancellation period of 90 days and are delivered digitally in the Go City app. With the discount code you save an additional 5 per cent on both. The following tables show all prices and costs in detail.

What is included in the price?
The London Pass® is more than just an admission ticket. These services are included at no extra charge.
Over 100 attractions
From Tower of London to Westminster Abbey to Windsor Castle - all admissions are included in the price. You can visit as many attractions as you can manage on each day of validity.
Hop-on hop-off bus tour
A two-day Big Bus tour is automatically included - if purchased individually, it costs around £56. This allows you to travel comfortably between the major sights.
Thames Boat Trip
A 24-hour ticket for the City Cruises boat trip on the Thames is also included in the price. Individually, it costs around £25.
Is the price worth it?
The simple rule of thumb: as soon as the sum of your individual tickets is higher than the price of the sightseeing pass, you save money. Here is a typical example.
Let's take a classic 3-day trip with the most popular London highlights. This is how much the individual tickets for an adult would cost together:
← Scroll table sideways →
| Attraction | Unit price |
|---|---|
| Tower of London | £37 |
| The London Eye | £39 |
| Westminster Abbey | £31 |
| Windsor Castle | £36 |
| The View from The Shard | £19 |
| Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour (2 days) | £56 |
| Thames boat trip (24h) | £25 |
| Total individual tickets | £243 |
| London Pass® 3 days | £169 |
In this example, the London Pass® costs £169 instead of £243 for single tickets. These are £74 saved - around 30 per cent. With the discount code, the London Pass® only costs £161, you will save even more than £80.
When the costs start to pay off
The calculation is the same for any length of trip: if the value of your planned admissions is higher than the price of the pass, you save money. Even the 1-day pass for £99 pays for itself if you visit three major attractions in one day - Tower of London, London Eye and Windsor Castle together already cost £112. If you are travelling in a more relaxed way and are only planning one or two attractions per day, single tickets or the Explorer Pass are often cheaper.
These costs are not included in the price
So that you are not surprised: You need to plan for this in addition.
Tube, buses and trains are not included in the London Pass®. For journeys within the city, you need an Oyster Card or pay contactless with a bank card. Depending on your stay, plan around £8-£10 per day.
For destinations outside the city such as Windsor Castle or Stonehenge, admission is included, but not the train journey there. The train journey to Windsor from Paddington costs extra.

How does the price compare to other providers?
In addition to Go City, there are smaller providers such as Turbopass, Headout and Merlin Combi Tickets. With just under 20 and around 40 attractions respectively, Turbopass and Headout have a much smaller offering and similar or higher prices, while the Merlin Combi Tickets only bundle a handful of attractions such as the London Eye and Madame Tussauds. For most travellers, the London Pass® offers the best value for money with over 100 attractions - the Merlin Combi Tickets are only worthwhile if you specifically combine two or three of these experiences.
Frequently asked questions about price and costs
The price depends solely on the chosen period of validity. Adults pay £99 for 1 day, £169 for 3 days and £259 for 10 days. Children from 5 to 15 years get a reduced children's rate in the area of £69-£169. With the discount code LONDONCP05LP you save an additional 5 per cent.
Yes, children between the ages of 5 and 15 get their own, significantly cheaper children's price - for the 3-day pass, for example £109 instead of £169 for adults. Children under the age of 5 are completely free and do not need their own ticket. This applies to both the London Pass® and the Explorer Pass.
You can find the London Pass® on gocity.com and on londonpass.com - both are official Go City sites with the same base price. The main differences are the discount codes that apply and the currency displayed. We link to the londonpass.com version because you can use the code LONDONCP05LP save an additional 5 per cent.
Yes, for most visitors. As soon as the sum of your individual tickets exceeds the price of the Sightseeing Pass, you save. With three to four paid attractions per day, the savings are typically between 30 and 50 per cent. With just one or two attractions per day, however, the all-inclusive price often doesn't pay off - in this case, individual tickets or the Explorer Pass are cheaper.
For a family of two adults and two children (aged 5-15), a 3-day London Pass® costs £556 - that's twice £169 for adults plus twice £109 for children. Children under the age of 5 are free. As families usually visit many attractions, the savings compared to individual tickets are particularly high here.
Yes, the London Pass® automatically includes a two-day hop-on hop-off bus tour and a 24-hour Thames boat trip in the price - together a single value of approx. £81. Tube, buses and trains are not included. For normal local transport you also need an Oyster Card or pay contactless with a bank card.
No. There is only one London Pass®, which is priced differently depending on the validity period of 1 to 10 days. There is no „Plus“ variant or premium level. If you read about a London Pass® Plus on older pages, this is outdated or incorrect information.
