Frequently asked questions about London attractions

The London Pass® covers around 104 attractions - from Tower of London and Windsor Castle to numerous city tours and boat trips. With the London Pass® you have unlimited access to all included attractions on the selected days. In our table above you can see each of them with normal price and availability.
Almost, but not quite. The Explorer Pass includes around 103 attractions, the London Pass® around 104. The most important difference: Windsor Castle and some smaller houses are only included in the London Pass®. So if Windsor Castle is important to you, you should go for the London Pass®. The rest of the range largely overlaps.
Only in the London Pass®, not in the Explorer Pass and not in any other sightseeing pass, you will find: The King's Gallery at Buckingham Palace, the Royal Mews, Keats House and the Guildhall Art Gallery. There is also Windsor Castle, which is also available with Headout, but is missing from Explorer Pass. If you want to see these houses, the London Pass® is the right choice.
No. Windsor Castle is included in the London Pass®, but not in the Explorer Pass. The unit price is around £36. If you really want to see Windsor, you are better off with the London Pass® - or buying a single ticket for Windsor. In our table, you can recognise this immediately by the tick in the respective columns.
The amounts shown are the regular individual prices for adults as a reference, mainly according to Go City. The daily prices may vary slightly for individual attractions or other providers. Some values are rounded or estimated. The prices are for comparison purposes so that you can see how quickly a sightseeing pass pays for itself compared to individual tickets.
With the London Pass® you can visit as many included attractions as you can manage on your chosen days. With the Explorer Pass you decide in advance on 2 to 7 attractions, which you can redeem flexibly within 30 days. Individual attractions are usually included once per Sightseeing Pass. For popular attractions, it is worth making a free advance reservation via the Go City app.
The two Go City Passes lead the way with around 104 (London Pass®) and 103 (Explorer Pass) attractions. Headout covers around 40 attractions, Turbopass 19 and the Merlin combination tickets bundle 6 major attractions. If you want maximum choice, the London Pass® or Explorer Pass is the widest choice.
Select the attractions in the table that you really want to visit and add up the normal prices. If the total is significantly higher than the price of the Sightseeing Pass, you save. You can find a complete calculation with days and attractions on our page on whether the London Pass® is worth it.
